Clownfish - 3 yrs. BEGINNER - Learn how to glide underwater and back float alone for 10 seconds. (3 max)

Seahorse/Scorpion fish - BEGINNERS class for those 6 years and older. Learn swimming basics. (3 max)

Blowfish - 3 - 4 years olds - Prerequisite - Clownfish
Learn pop-up breathing with crawl stroke arms and how to swim on their back. (4 max)


Catfish - 4 years and up - Prerequisite - Blowfish, Seahorse or Scorpion Fish. Learn crawl stroke with side breathing, and swim on back 25 feet. (4 max)


Flying Fish - Prerequisite - Catfish. Learn crawl stroke with side breathing, and elementary backstroke and back 50 feet. (4 max)


Swordfish: Prerequisite Flying Fish - Learn side stroke and build endurance on elementary backstroke and back stroke 50 feet. (4 max)

Barracuda: Prerequisite - Swordfish - Learn breaststroke and build upon other skills. (4 max)


Shark: Prerequisite - Barracuda, Learn butterfly and continue to build endurance and correct strokes. (4 max)

Dolphin: Prerequisite - Shark. Learn competitive aspects of swimming - turns, starts, etc. (4 max)

Stingray: Prerequisite : Swordfish. Junior lifesaving Class (4 max) Add $15 for cost of book.





Junior Beach Guard warm-up Class: correct strokes and build endurance in preparation for Junior Guards program (10 max)

 

Instructors Aide Class: Designed for young adults ages 12 - 15. This 8 session course will show you how to teach all skills to children. There will be 4 sessions of actual hands on with an instructor by your side.

 

MAKE-UP POLICY - In order to maintain  the integrity of our classes a recreational swim pass will be issued in lieu of a missed class unless proof of illness (i.e. doctors note) is provided.  Make-ups are not guaranteed and done on a space available basis.

There are no refunds unless another swimmer takes your child's spot in the class.  The Five Cities Swim Club will refund your payment less a $25 cancellation fee in addition to a per class charge for the classes that have been held.


Membership/Prices

Membership with the 5 Cities Swim Club is an optional discount program. Membership is a $50 annual fee good for a family. Members receive discounts on all of the programs offered at the Club. You may choose to participate as a member or a non-member.
